Does your head hurt?

An intruder in your home asks you for a pill to relieve their headache. Without any apparent reason, you choose to swallow the pill, unknowingly unlocking the door to madness.

Controls:

This game is absolutely outstanding! I love the colors and the story is thrilling! the death room is adorable too! I am a creator that is just starting out so I have been looking for a platform that would allow me to make a simple game and that's when I found your game in my recommendations. Bitsy is nice and easy to use, your game is an amazing example of how the site can make your story come to life an I truly enjoy it :D

Stunning atmosphere, it has a dark sense, but altogether, I found it trying too much, too brief and resultantly, too shallow.

I found a small bug; it occurs when you press either left or right arrows when the player is in sync with the door tiles inside the rooms of the tutorial house. It's small bug and doesn't break the UX but I thought I should let you know. BTW great game!!! Love the atmosphere!

Edit: So dark... but I think it has a nice replay factor. Will have to try this one again soon.

Yes. If you're inside the rooms and you stay put in the doorways... then if you press either right or left you get transported back to the hallway. I hope that description helps.

This is not a bug but the game engine itself, i can't really change it because Bitsy is very limited ^^'

No worries! :) It's a very small gripe on my part and I know all about engine quirks... Construct 2 have them as well. Again, great game! ^ ^

I don't like that your choice at the beginning is random (making it not really a choice), also that your movement keys skip dialogue. Also can't really say that I get it

if you make the wrong choice it literally takes like 20 seconds to go back and choose the other choice, but to each their own!

I know that, I just think the choice doesn't really mean much without information. It's not really a choice without any information, it's basically random.

The choice is a tiny detail in medicine. The point is to go through the red door. When we are sick, the medicines always look the same when we take it, right ? This is why I did not make any difference or gave any explanation, otherwise who would choose to directly end the game after 10 seconds ? So, yeah, we could say it is random, but for me, it is linear. Because you will still have to take the other one to really start the game.

This game was actually pretty fun my main complaint is that the movement key is also the action key so I had to play through it twice to see some of the dialogue but it's short, so it was worth it also a little more depth with any of the characters would have been cool the world was definitely interesting enough but really well done again! my play through here:

I updated the game according to the problem you had between the walking phase and the dialogs. So now we can see where are the dialogs without mistakenly skipping them ;)

Haha thanks and sorry for the overreaction in the video whining about it I had just tried to do a walk through on a skill platformer and failed so I was in a mood. I actually jump scared myself editing the video cause I screamed when I skipped one XD. I saw you added colored tiles for the dialogue areas which is a really smart way to tackle it!

haha yeah i noticed but no problem :p Bitsy is nice for to make simple games but its limitations can make problems like that. It will usually be used for to talk to other characters but not really walk on invisible events.
